A 'bend' assumes you're finished with the bending after you let go of the
mouse button. If you cut and paste to the next layer and resume the bend,
it won't work, because the 'bend' function will bend it as an unbent object.
That make sense? For ex. if you bent a straight bar, copied and pasted to
the next layer, the bend function will treat that copied object as if it
were a straight bar if you tried to continue that bend.
